Is the 225-OD protected from the weather?  It's not waterproof if it's mounted upside down.  Water can run in along the Ethernet cable into the device.

Unless the cabling is very short, it should be quite each to remount it right side up.  I forget how the holes are situated on the mounting bracket.  Not sure if new holes are needed in the wall or not.

As Fae said, the shape of the RF field will be largely unaffected.  But mounting height and proximity to ground does matter depending on what kinds of client (STA) distances you are hoping to achieve and the elevation of the clients vs. the AP.

@JSchnee21 Thanks. It is under a roof overhang mounted on the exterior metal clad wall. However, I did not consider water protection so thanks again.

Ideally -- especially since you said the wall was metal clad -- it's best to mount the AP several inches (like at least 4") away from the wall surface, rather than flat to the wall.

Having the antennas in close proximity to a large sheet of metal is definitely going to interfere with the radiation pattern of the antennas.

That's not to say it won't work, it may, depending on what you are hoping to achieve.  But it's certainly not ideal.
