Extending church network
Apologies - unable to fill in some of the above data - not available but probably not relevant.
I need to extend church network to adjoining hall to provide WiFi in hall. BT modem provides WiFi in church itself but to reach hall I need to use an ethernet cable from church to hall. WiFi signal does not penetrate thick walls between the two.
The available extender is a TP-Link AC750 (not listed in Model drop down list).
Instructions show it used by connecting it to modem via WiFi and then using the ethernet port of extender to connect to hardware in hall. As I cannot connect from church to hall - signal to weak, can I connect modem to AC750 via this port to extend WiFi? I have seen this done successfully with another make of extender.
I may confusing extenders and repeaters, though Googling for the difference seems to imply both are much the same.
Thanks.
