EAP650 vs EAP660 HD
Both EAP 650 and EAP 660HD have capability of 2402 mbps at 5GHz.
EAP 660HD has "1x 2.5Gbps Ethernet Port" ... OK!!
But EAP650 has "1x Gigabit Ethernet Port''. How can it also offer 2,4 Gbps WIFI without the 2.5Gbps Ethernet Port?

The short answer is because its a 2400mbps wireless speed, this is likely only going to deliver around the 1gbps in real speeds at the wire for most installations.
Sadly the nature of wireless as a medium, the speed claims that are never going to be possible in real terms and even if you did connect at 2400 it would really only be around half that in actual transfer rates, decreasing the further away you move.
Take the 660HD for example, according to reviews at 1 meter it will transfer around 1500mbps on the LAN port, move to 3 meters that drops to below 1gbps. 90% of installations are not at 1 meter ranges so the faster LAN port really doesnt offer anything.
In short, in the real world unless you are at point blank range to the EAP650 its unlikely to flood the 1gbps LAN port, if you really really have to have that extra few hundred speed at point blank then the EAP660 with its faster LAN port will offer you that.
Hopefully that helps!
