Model: ER605 (TL-R605)
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 2.1.1

I have the ER605 router, I want a VLAN on port LAN2 where a computer is connected. The computer gets an ip assigned from the vlan, but has no access to the internet. Question: Does VLAN only work with a switch or should it also be possible via direct connection to the router?

In some cases, the switch is not a necessary factor for setting VLAN, you can achieve that only with the router, take a look:

  @Virgo Can it be that it only works in standalone, but not with Omada Controler?

  @Ja2ck7

If you use controller V5.8 and ER605 V2 2.1.2, then it is TOTALLY OK.

  @Virgo Yes, I use Omada 5.8, but unfortunately it doesn't work.  The computer gets an IP address in the vlan but no access to the internet.
