Model: RE300
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: RE300(EU)_V1_211126

My RE300 shows only the power LED. I have tried to reset it, the Tether app connects to it and attempts to set up the WiFi by connection to the main router, but when everything is finalized and I apply settings, a few seconds later, it simply says "main connection lost", and that I need to start all over again.

Throughout the entire process, only the power LED remains on. The other LED's blink once only when I reset the extender. The extender is also physically pretty closely placed to the main router - an Archer C80 v2.26 running firmware  Archer C80(US)_V2.26_1.13.1 Build 230609.

Hi, If only the power LED is on and solid, it means it is not connected to any router.

For your case, here are some suggestions.
1. Please check whether Wireless password of your router you entered is correct or not? Please go to Settings--WiFi on your phone to forget the new router WiFi, then reconnect it using the same Wi-Fi password to see if it works.
2. Please reset the extender into default settings again by holding the reset button until all lights flashing once, then refer to this instruction to configure your range extender again carefully:

Via Tether App: How to configure Range Extender via Tether APP
Via Web interface: How to configure my range extender via web GUI

Note: During the configuration, please make sure that the extender is close to your router and be careful when you enter router's wireless password.

If it still doesn't connect, please check if there is any special settings on your main router, like access control etc. which will block the extender.
