Hi,

I have a TL-WA1201 running in multi-ssid mode. When I assign the VLANs to the SSIDs, i can no longer connect or ping the access point. I suspect that the acces point DHCP client and web management interface remain in non-vlan network. Assigning VLAN 1 to a SSID makes it non-VLAN and thus that works. However, that is not ideal for me.

I do not see any option to put the management interface and the dhcp client in a VLAN in the manual nor on the web interface. Is this not possible?

  @BunnyMeow

Management interface is always in VLAN 1.

So if you want to manage the TL-WA1201 do this from a device connected to your main router or create a management SSID like this:

  @terziyski Hi, Thanks for your reply.

VLAN 1 is untagged in the access point. I have used this and then use my managed switch to "reinsert" the trafic back into the correct VLAN. This works for now :).
