Model: EAP245
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 5.0.7

I have set up a guest wifi in my EAP245 AP with my oc200 used WPA-Personal for security. I also have set up a portal with simple password .

My question is do the passwords need to be the same?

So for example I like to change the guest wifi password in the portal do I need to change the wpa security key to the same password?

Hi  @corkscrew22

They don't have to match; these are two distinct authentication steps. The client will be prompted to enter the password twice.

Hi @corkscrew22

Yes, you can set the SSID as open, or choose the portal type as No authentication. Either is fine.
