Model: ER706W
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.2.0 Build 20250428 Rel.77691(4555)

The ER706W does not have a specific "client list" feature as found in most other routers, including the Tp-Link home routers.  This is most inconvenient, especially when client names can not be edited in the wireless section and don't even appear in the ARP section.  I am referring to the gateway in standalone mode.  I do not know if a client list is available after adding a hardware controller.

Please consider adding a "client list" web page to the firmware.

Are you saying the wireless devices connected to the router do not show up in the ARP table on the router?

Screenshot/details of this described symptom.

Client list is the DHCP list. The product serves as the router, so it follows the Omada router interface and design mindset. Do not compare it with the home products.

I am not saying the DHCP clients don't show up in the ARP list.  The problem is the ARP list does not display the host names.  The host names are displayed in the DHCP clients list but can't be edited on the router.  They can be edited using the Omada app but the changes stay within the app and do not update on the router.

Any decent client list should display wired clients that have static ip addresses as well as those that have DHCP assigned addresses.  Otherwise, it is not complete.

ARP is layer 2 why would it display the client name?

Omada Controller or app offers that and that's exclusive. The standalone, whole series does not offer that option.

It only have the DHCP list which shows the client name.

To respond to your question "ARP is layer 2 why would it display the client name?", the ARP list displays the IP address along with the MAC address.  If the IP address is shown, then the router "knows" what client is connected and should be able to display the host name as well.
