Model: OC300
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

When I set a fixed IP sdress within the config page of a client, the settings will never change the current IP adress of the device. Even if I replug the ethernet cable and reboot the client, the same IP as before will be assigned - not the new one I set. This is completely client independant and occurs on any kind of client (IoT devices, PC, Phones, Tablets, Consoles...).

This is really frustrating because one of the main reasons to run an SDN is the ability to configure things like this.

What can I do? When will this be fixed?

  @GaRv3

What router do you have? You need an Omada router to set a fixed IP.

  @MR.S Router is at 2.3.0

The controller was on 1.26.6, which seems to be outdated. I never see this update because the controller is only accessible in Global View, which I never use. Upgrade is in progress...

Controller is on latest 1.29.7 now. Issue persists.

try posting under the router section, it's not the controller that's the problem. Clive_A will probably answer tomorrow
