PC remains on Specific IP
Hi,
Hardware:
OC200,
ER605 v2.0
SG2428P v5.20
some AP(265HD, 235).
I have 4 VLANs:
1 - 192.168.0.x (infrastructure)
10 - 192.168.10.x (PCs)
20 -
30 -
and working OK for almost a year now.
Perhaps I didn't noticed, but my leading Ubuntu pc that should have been on IP 192.168.10.11 (part of PC VLAN),
got 192.168.0.12. I noticed that only when I added another PC to VLAN1.
No matter what I did, it remained at 192.168.0.12.
Trials:
1. Connect other PC to that specific wall outlet - assigned another IP
2. Connect wall outlet to a different port on switch - assisgned same IP.
3. replaced the SSD with a fresh installation of Ubuntu - assigned same IP.
3. Verified that relevant port (port11) is set to "All" (vlans) - assigned same IP.
4. defined VLAN10 on port11 assigned same IP.
5. verify that DHCP reservation is set to requested IP - still assigned same IP.
6. delete DHCP reservation - assigned same IP.
7. Verfied that there is no IP-MAC bind - still same IP.
8. multiple reboots, and disconnecting wall jack connector - remained the same.
I'm 100% positive that it has something to do with siwtch that preserves this IP, and not from PC side, or specific port.
please help :)
