Howto separate Guest and IOT network in access point mode
I have a TP-Link GE550 as router and a Mercusys MR47BE (company owned by TP-Link) as Access Point. If I setup Guest Network on MR47BE - or actually any TP-Link router in AP-mode. Is the Guest Network isolated from LAN, then? How is this done? Does the AP create a VLAN for the devices connected to Guest-wifi or what?

@terziyski The feature request was dated 3 years ago. Shall I interpret the answer as if I create a Guest Network in Router and AP, the users connecting through the AP will not be isolated from LAN? Which is the result if a user connects to the Router?
That implies that the only way to achieve this isolation would be if one configures EasyMesh?
Or - did I completely misunderstand? I would assume that the AP distinguishes the Main, Guest and IOT networks by setting a VLAN for each network? That would enable the router to isolate using Firewall rules.

These are home routers and they don't support VLANs nor any firewall rules.
If you set a guest network on your " MR47BE - or actually any TP-Link router in AP-mode " all connected devices would be in the LAN of your GE550.
Also Easymesh doesn't support extending the IoT and Guest networks to its satellites yet.
When a device is in AP mode its Guest or IoT network is just a different wireless SSIDs in the same LAN.
You can isolate the Guest users only if the device is in router mode.
