Hello,

I would like to redirect all traffic from a specific VLAN through an external VPN on my Omada v6.
I've done some research on this, but I can't find a direct solution to my problem.
I tested everything with a friend's NordVPN account, and it all works perfectly.
I recently bought a CyberGhost VPN account and I'm having some problems with it.
The only difference I see compared to NordVPN is the remote server address.
CyberGhost only has a domain, NordVPN an IP address.
Is there any way I can use a domain in Omada?

Here are some details:
I created an .ovpn file for routers in Cyberghost.

Since Cyberghost creates multiple files, I added the ca cert and key data to the .ovpn file.

Here again is the problem with IP and domain.
The generated .ovpn file imports without any problems into my Linux system, and a connection can be established. Therefore, the file should work.

I then created it in Omada v6 as follows

So, for the remote server, I pinged the domain from CyberGhost and added the IP-Adress.

That should all work, right?

Unfortunately, I'm not getting a tunnel connection sad

Does anyone else use CyberGhost VPN and have a tip or solution for me?
Thanks wink

Could it be, that my Omada v6 with ER7206 v1.0 not support openVPN 2.6 with UDP Configuration?

All attempts to configure CybergHost VPN via openVPN 2.6 UDB do not work at all :(

It works with TCP but only if I remove
data-ciphers AES-256-GCM:AES-128-GCM:AES-256-CBC
data-ciphers-fallback AES-256-CBC

in the .ovpn File, and through
cipher AES-256-CBC
replace.

What's wrong???

  @lukass2000

I dont believe that Omada gateways support tunelling VLAN traffic through an outgoing OpenVPN connection.  Wireguard it can

  @GRL

It works perfectly with NordVPN without any problems.

It seems that CyberGhost doesn't support the combination of OpenVPN 2.6 and UDP?
