  @Hank21

All four of my SG2008 v4.20 switches were upgraded some two and a half hours ago and everything appeared stable.  Now, all wired clients (except the OC300 connected directly to the gateway) are being shown in the offline list as disconnected.

Rebooting one switch brought its wired clients back to the online list.  The issue with disappearing wired clients discussed here is still occurring.  I have reverted back to the v4.20.17 firmware and everything is normal.

Yeah the 6.2 betas are definitely still causing the disappearing clients.  Switches i downgraded to January Stable are fine.  To reassure everyone, client connectivity is fine, its just the client list in controller starts reducing.

Tech Support contacted me yesterday and today they informed me of the new pre-release firmware found here.   All switches have again been upgraded and after several hours everything is normal with the wired clients.  The only confusing thing is whether the firmware is for the 6.1.x.x or the 6.2.x.x controller.

Yeah, its getting unnecessarily messy now, hence my post about having them all in one thread, per release..... and its frustrating when the threads jump around depending on which was last posted to, as they arent pinned in sequence

Im fairly sure the newest and fixes one are controller 6.1 level (since posted in a 6.1 thread), not 6.2, but its very hard to tell and kind of know for sure with the overlapping and frequent releases, and the build dates are 6 days newer than the 6.2 adapted batch..... ????

EDIT - Like, i meant to post this in the 6.1 switch thread, not the 6.2.........see what i mean?

I experience exactly the same problem, all clients disappearing, they are shortly available after a restart of all components, but then change to disconnected, but all are reachable and functioning!

@GRL

if it's 6.1, it's not really useful, but thx for the answer ;)

  @kid63

its still works fine on 6.2 and you dont lose an awful lof of functionality, only a couple niche things are supported in 6.2 on switches.
