Hi

I have a BE9700 router (Archer BE550 Pro).

Plus IoT devices and bridges to manage them.

Plus a Home Assistant to manage everything and the rest of my network (printer, NAS, ...).

I would like to configure a IoT network, then add device isolation for all the IoT hubs in that IoT network, AND grant them access to my Home Assistant, which has to remain in the main network (because it has to access the whole network of course).

Something like this :

IoT devices [IoT network + isolation] => Home Assistant [main network] => Everything else in my netword such as printer, NAS... [main network]

IoT and device isolation are easy to be configured in the admin interface, but did not find anything to grant access to my Home Assistant.

Any idea ? (I'm quite sure it is not possible, but I take a chance XD)

Thanks!

Here's what's the purpose of the IoT network implementation.

Many thanks to your quick reply and the links.

I know that IoT network is not isolated.

I know that the router permits a device isolation.

I know the purpose of isolation is to separate networks, and that is why I want to do that XD.

The point is I have a Home Assistant, which is a centralized solution to admin all the IoT and the REST of devices of a network.

So, that being said, I would like to give the isolated devices access to the H-A. (like an ACL, something like that ;))

Archer BE550 Pro is a home grade router and it doesn't support any advanced fetures that you need in your particular scenario.

Configuring the H.A. as an isolated device, it won't see anymore any of the unisolated devices - that's why I've sent these hyperlinks for.
