EAP245 v3 Passive POE Injector Speed Limit
Hi there,
Does this passive POE injector have a speed limit up to 1750Mbps? Or is it simply pass-through whatever speed the connected cable? Can I power it up 2.5Gbps AP, e.g. EAP670?
Thank you!

Hi,@mma678
Thank you for your post on our business forum.
Could you please clarify which specific adapter you are referring to? The speed of an adapter is tied to the speed of its own Ethernet port.
The adapter bundled with the EAP245 is matched to the device's port speed. For example, the EAP245 itself features a 1Gbps port, and its original bundled adapter also comes with a 1Gbps port. Therefore, if you are referring to the EAP245's matching adapter, its speed cannot reach 1750Mbps.
Additionally, with regard to your note that the EAP670 does not support Passive PoE, we would like to gently remind you that you cannot use a Passive PoE adapter to power this device. You may refer to the official product specifications for more details:Specifications - EAP670 | AX5400 Ceiling Mount WiFi 6 Access Point | Omada by TP-Link

@Jeremy_12 Doesn't EAP670 work with tp-link 2.5G POE+ injector (TL-POE260S)?

Hi ,@mma678
You can use the POE260s to power the EAP670. They all support the Standard POE 802.3at.
