Hi,

I have two TP-Link switches and a Ubiquiti edge router lite. Topology is Edgerouter lite to 1600G-28PS(Sw1) with 2 vlans setup. SW1 sees the vlans and passes the IP address of each Vlan. SW1 connected to 1600g-28TS (Sw2) using 4 cables for a LACP.
SW2 only passes IP address of Vlan 1 and not Vlan 10. If I only use 1 cable to connect the switches together it works no problems. I have been in contact with support and they advised I needed to create a Vlan for the LACP. I have done this and it made no difference. Some screens shots below. It would be appreciated if anyone can help or make further suggestions. Many Thanks Adam

You configured all ports to be members of several VLANs (VID1 and VID102) at the same time.

What you need is a trunk link from sw1 to sw2 over the LAG, not a separate VLAN for the LAG.

So, the trunk port from the ER-Lite to sw1 and the 4 trunk ports from sw1 to sw2 should both be members of the two VLANs (say 10 and 20) with PVID 1 (the native VLAN - beware, traffic is usually untagged in the native VLAN!). If you need to use VLAN 1 and 10 instead of 10 and 20, make sure that all trunk ports are tagged ports on egress for VLAN1, too (no native VLAN).

Also make sure to first create the Link Aggregation Group and then assign the LAG to the VLAN, not the ports.

All other access ports should be either a member of VLAN 10 or 20 (alternatively 1 or 10) with corresponding PVID. Do not add them to more than one VLAN else they become trunk ports.
