Yesterday an unknown Powerline adapter connected with my powerline network. I immediately disconnected it, but how can it connect with me? Assuming its owner is not sharing my own electricity connection.My powerlines: TL-PA4020P and TL-WPA4220Unknown powerline: I think it is a DLINK DHP‑W310AVThanks

Go into the settings of your powerline and change the network name. As this re-secures your network, it should mean that the other device will be unable to reconnect.

Root cause: Out of the box, TP-Link powerline equipment uses the chip manufacturer's default encryption key (aka passphrase). Always, always, always enter your own passphrase or use the button pairing method to create a random passphrase.
