Hello,

I'd like to use TL-MR3420 with ZTE MF831 (4G)modem.

The USB-Modem(MF831) itself function normaly when directly connected to PC. (Webpage is shown normaly in browser)

But when I connect via TP-Link (USB-Modem is connected to router and PC is connected via WLAN to TP-Link) there are no web page shown.

Inside the web surface of the TP-Link everything is shown normaly.

When I do a ping "www.google.com" there is shown a stable connection.

But if I enter "www.google.com" inside webbrowser, I only get a timeout.

Also if I connect via tablet (for which the WLAN-router is suposed too) I only get timeout if I'd like to connect to internet.

try to change teh DNS in the web based management page, change dns to 8.8.8.8

The domain name service is functional.

If I enter "ping www.google.at" following answer is shown:

 

Ping wird ausgeführt für www.google.at [216.58.213.227] mit 32 Bytes Daten:
Antwort von 216.58.213.227: Bytes=32 Zeit=66ms TTL=50
Antwort von 216.58.213.227: Bytes=32 Zeit=51ms TTL=50

So the adress resolution works(DNS), but no http!

Is there a firewall inside the router? (when I connect the modem direct to the PC everthing works)

 

When I connect via a tablet to the router, I get an WLAN connection and IP adress, but unable to browse to a webside....

 

By the way if I enter the 8.8.8.8 as primar DNS, then nothing works. The "ping www.google.at" doesn't work any more, because there is no adress translation...

If I do a "ping 216.58.213.227" then it works in this case (with DNS 8.8.8.8)

Did you try other PC, or phone, tablet? 

 

Is firmware updated? Contact tplink support to get some advice if yes.
