I have a workplace that is seperated from my home. It's around 30-40m from my home to my workplace and there are several buildings around. At the moment I have an eap225, and I want to get wifi in my workplace. Is it possible to get this with an eap225 outdoor in client mode? If yes how can I do that?

Dear @Miliaan5,

I have a workplace that is seperated from my home. It's around 30-40m from my home to my workplace and there are several buildings around. At the moment I have an eap225, and I want to get wifi in my workplace. Is it possible to get this with an eap225 outdoor in client mode? If yes how can I do that?

The Omada EAP is just a wireless access point, no client mode on the EAP225-Outdoor. But it is possible to wirelessly deploy the EAP225-Outdoor with the EAP mesh feature, working as if it's in client mode. To do that, you need the following things.

1) The existing EAP225 should support the Mesh feature, so it should be EAP225 V3.

2) You need to have Omada Software Controller (free and installed on Windows or Linux OS) or purchase OC200 to use the Mesh feature.

Here are the EAP Mesh related FAQs for your reference.
