The Omada Controller 5.6 will been released in succession this month, which has added mDNS repeater support.

 

Note that it still requires to upgrade the router firmware to the adapted firmware. And I haven't been informed of the date for the router firmware release yet, will actively update this post once new firmware is available for Omada router, welcome to subscribe!

@Fae So, still running on the 'jam tomorrow' mode of support .... fairly atrocious way of working from a business item of kit.

So, people asking is it ready are happy to have it in HW controler but in fact it is same as in Software controller.

Both are waiting for router firmware update.

Can someone point me where is it (screenshot guide)?

I will enable it so I'll be ready for 100% when router firmware wlii come :-)

P.S. I'm already on beta on one site because address reservation only work with 1.2.2b

Any word yet on a release date for the gateway firmware (ER605 v1.0)?
