Model: EAP235-Wall
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.2 Build 20200917 Rel. 54331

I have just purchased this EAP235-Wall device to become part of a setup mixing EAP110, EAP115 and EAP225 devices.

I am using software controller v3.2.7 as the latest version supported by the oldest AP.

The EAP110 and EAP225 are connected to unmanaged switches, the EAP115 and the new EAP235-Wall are connected to managed switches.

If I add an SSID using a VLAN, it broadcasts across all APs, so there is no connectivity if clients connect to the VLAN SSID on APs connected to the unmanaged switches.

Does anyone know of a way to limit broadcast of VLAN SSIDs on the Access Points that are connected to the managed switches?

Thank you,

Neil

@NeilB

Hey Neil

I have not used v3 of the controller so excuse if this is not the same as v4  -  had a look at the emulator for OC200

However i believe you can go to the AP specifically and choose to enable / disable the broadcast of specific SSIDS on that AP.  That might be an option for you?
