Model: ER605 (TL-R605)
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.1

I want to be able to create a separate WiFi network to connect over ExpressVPN's L2TP VPN, as I cannot use OpenVPN yet due to the lack of ability to enter a username and password.

I have successfully created a VLAN (7), SSID and am using the Omada Router as a DHCP server 10.1.7.0/24. I have created a VPN L2TP client, entered my user/pass and the server/psk from ExpressVPN, entered VLAN7, selected NAT mode and entered a remote subnet as 10.100.7.1/24. I can connect to the internet through the new WiFi but I am still showing my ISP IP and tracing the route shows the same. What am I missing?

@jack0607

Make sure the Local Network on VPN settings are the one that the new SSID belongs to?

Can you see a VPN tunnel been established successfully?? Maybe VPN is not connected at all?

On insight>VPN status.

Just striving to develop myself while helping others.
