[FEATURE REQUEST]: ER7206 - add LAN LAG (Link Aggregation) feature
![](https://static-community.tp-link.com/icon/a899f323ab4840a48cd5c258642b661e.jpeg)
Hi @Fae,
Is there a dev plan to add the Link Aggregation (LAG) feature for LAN ports for ER7206 v1.0 ?
Ex. ER7206 LAN Port4+LAN Port5 <=> to switch uplink TL-SG2428P v1.0 SFP Port27+SFP Port28 ?
I have a site with two ISP 1Gbps WAN (SFP port+ WAN port) and need to connect this 2 Gbps uplink to the switch TL-SG2428P v1.0.
Any ideas on how to do this?
Thank you.

Dear @Tha_host,

At least a response would be highly appreciated. If and eventually when we can expect this feature. "No" could also be an answer...
Thank you for your query in TP-Link Community!
It's confirmed that Omada Gateway adding LAN LAG feature is planned to be added in the firmware adapted to Omada Controller v5.8*, which can be expected to release at the end of this year. So stay tuned!
Note: the release time mentioned here is for your reference only, it's subject to the actual firmware condition.

@Alex_UTS Will the ER7206 support LAG in standalone mode?
I just got a TL-SG1024DE today and am sad i cannot (Link Aggregation) them together.
I am also assuming they would only work in static LAG and not dynamic LAG?

I don't see this feature in the releasenotes of controller 5.8.4, also not in the new 5.9.9. Am I wrong, or is this feature still not in the firmware available?
Even if it is available, I still can't use this feature as a router firmware update for the ER7206 is required too...
I am very dissappointed that this functionality isn't available, even though you've said that it will be "at the end of this (2022) year".

@d0ugmac1 Thanks for sorting this out. However, it looks like this is on a switch, am I right? I'm in the need of configuring this on both the switch and my ER7206 router. On the switch I am able to, but unfortunately not on the router...
I have a OC200 as controller, so I need to be patient to have a look if LAG is supported on the router or not.

Hi, the printscreen is confusing, the image of the device doesn't seem to have 8 ports on it.
And your footer is about ER605 that also doesn't have 8 ports.
I was wondering if my ER605 v1 could be used this way to handle a 2Gbps internet connection (that is planned to be offered in given location in a few months) but I'm doubtful. Probably the hardware doesn't handle more than 1Gbps, even if I connected it with a nasty workaround via 2 wan port (one through an extra router in the middle giving a different NAT to the ER605 as if it was a different ISP, because we know that this router doesn't accept two ISP connection in the same IP range).
And I'm using standalone mode, not even controller.
