Omada Controller 5.0.15 Adopting & Provisioning loop
Hello everyone, After the Omada Controller Update to 5.0.15, most of our sites have the following problem: All APs in the site are in an Adopting & Provisioning loop. I don't know how to end it Restarting the controller or the entire server on which the controller is installed did not help. No clients can log in in this state. The problem affects the EAP225 and EAP245.

As an update, this issue has been fixed in Controller v5.0.29.
Omada Software Controller_v5.0.29_Window has been released on December 17, 2021
Thank you for your attention!

I have the same issue, I have had to roll the Virtual Machine to pre-upgrade checkpoint.

@Marda236 Thanks for this answer, I also encounter this issue. I have updated my softwre controller today.
You happen to know when the next update will be published?
In the meantime, my APs seem to work just fine, is it ok to leave the site running on 5.0.15 until an update is rolled out?

So the problem has been identified... what are we supposed to do in the meantime? Are they suggesting downgrading back to the previous release in the meantime? Letting them run in the loop?

Hello everyone, they said the following to me: "the next update to fix the issue is planned to be released this month. Please wait patiently." That was about 3 weeks ago. It didn't quite work out, but I think it'll come soon. Until then i would do a downgrading back to the previous release, i did that at least.

If your devices are adopted properly with the Omada Controller 5.0.15, you can keep using the controller, no need to worry about it.
If you suffer from the same adopting & provisioning loop issue after updating to controller v5.0.15, I'd like to escalate your case directly to the TP-Link support team and they can fix the backup file for you to make things work properly.
Please feel free to let me know if you need any further assistance with the controller v5.0.15.

@Fae I have the same issue too.
I take it we can't simply downgrade. We either have to reload a backup or do something to the existing database?
