Thank you very much for your feedback!

The Omada Controller v5 has changed the upper limit of the Alert log entries. When you are notified with such alert log, that means the alert log entries has reached the upper limit and the exceeded alert log entries will be cleared automatically.

Best Regards!

Suffering this issue too, what alert logs are being filled?   Is it possible to get the logs off before they are being purged / backup to another target?  Remote logging or somethiing

Dear @Ajhodgey ,

If you want to clear Alerts, you can go to the Log screen and manually select ARCHIVE ALL to pre-pack all unpacked logs.
If you want to clear Events, there is a small broom icon to clear all on the interface.

Best Regards!

Just to be clear, it doesn't look like "archiving all" resolves the issues about the `The number of logs is up to the limit` message.  Seems that only pruning the logs as mentioned at the end does resolve it.  If logs are automatically rolled off/aged out based on the limit, it would probably be ideal to maybe not log every time it occurs or maybe allow it to be set.  I didn't specifically see an age limit for logs to auto prune them but maybe I missed something.

*edit: even after pruning the archived Alerts, it still continues to add more logs saying "The number of logs is up to the limit."  I also found that I had over 5k pages of Events at 50 per page which may be what it was still complaining about.

Same error on my end as well. I have no unarchived Alerts but I have 17201 records in Events. I'm using 5.0.29 on a VM.

Same issue here.

I cleared all events via the broom icon but that didn't help.

Every other minute I get a "The number of logs is up to the limit." alert

How can I fix this?

May I know what do you mean you can not see your cloud controller?

Could you please tell me the specific problem phenomenon?

Best Regards!
