Dear @PavelV,

@Philbert is correct yes. Due to log4j vulnerability, the new firmware v5.0.29 for OC200 v1.0 has been released to the official website directly bypassing the cloud to speed up the firmware release process. So you didn't find this new firmware by the Check for Update option. This new firmware will be released to the cloud shortly to allow the auto-upgrade.

 

You can follow this post as @Philbert sent earlier to do a manual upgrade, or wait for the auto-upgrade patiently.

To my knowledge there is no v1.0 of the OC200...  

 

I have installed SDM v5.0.29 on my OC200 v1.0 without issue.. link below

Hello,

Thank you for answer. Why doesn't the "check for upgrade" button look for anything? Do I have to upgrade manually? I'm afraid something will go wrong.

Yeah it didnt come via the auto update for me either, likely as its only newly released and was pushed out faster than usual due to the Log4 bug.  Pretty sure it will come eventually.

 

If you want to install it use the link i sent you earlier and download the image, point your OC200 to this and it will update.   If you would rather wait for it to auto-update then thats fine too

 

There is no more risk associated with manual update vs auto update, its the same process underneath.

I still found a newer fw for EAP245 v3 on the web. 

I upgraded it to 5.0.4 Build 20211021 Rel. 57494
