NVR1008H cannot configure Line Crossing event, but can configure it in Security Manager
I have a VIGI C300 camera which records on my NVR1008H. I can configure Line Crossing events using the Security Manager on my computer, but this option is not available from the NVR. I get a popup saying 'Unavailable for all channels' and when I try and select a channel the popup only has 'No channels can...'.
Why does this happen?
How can I configure line crossing for people only in this configuration?
I am currently getting way too many false positives for motion detection especially on windy days where the shadows from nearby trees are moving across the field of view. My proposed approach is to turn down the sensitivity of motion detection to its minimum, and use line crossing to activate events. Is this going to work?
