Model: ER605 (TL-R605)  
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 2.0.0 Build 20220106 Rel.56391

I have an e8372 which is listed in the compatible USB modems (https://www.tp-link.com/ca/er605/compatibility/) and it works when I plug it directly into a computer.

 

When I plug into the ER605, the USB light never turns on and the web interface No USB modem connected.  What do I need to make this work?

Please ensure that you have enabled the USB WAN port under Network -> WAN, which is disabled by default.
