RDP not working on wifi?

Model: ER605 (TL-R605)
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.2.1

Hi all I have a very odd thing happening.

So I have 2 houses and in 1 house I have my server connected to Archer AX 50 router.

RDP is enabled port forwarded all ok.

I exit the house go to house 2 where my connection is made over EAP225 (2 of them in mesh) connected to ER605.

It failes to connect to RDP.

Turning wifi off and connecting to RDP via 4G on my phone the RDP works!

What the?

Why would that happen?

This makes no sense.

I have the same ISP provider in both houses and my

External IP of house 1 is 14x.1xx.x.140

External IP of house 2 is 14x.1xx.x.141

Probably because I bought 2 packages at the same time for both houses...

I am as well using DDNS by tplink on the archer ax50.

Any clue why is this happening?

  @Sashabencic

What is the network topology of your whole network?

Is there just an open port rule set up between the two gateways?
Is there a VPN etc connection?

Do you want the device on the back end of the ER605 to be able to access the server behind the AX50 to achieve the RDP connection?
How exactly did you set up the open port?

Just striving to develop myself while helping others.

  @Virgo

Hi its very basic ports on AX 50 open and pointed to server.

Server firewall 3389 allow.

RDP enabled.

It worked before I do not understand what is the problem now.

The house 2 where im accessing from is like this ER605-->EAP225v3 and lan to floor 2 into TL108PE --> EAP225v3

So very basic nothing extra going on... The TL108PE has an always on computer connected to work as Omada controller as well but I do not think that it matters.

Its really odd!
