Win10 PC wirelessly connected to AX50 router using TP-Link Archer T3U Plus adapter

 

The VIGI C340-W is wirelessly connected to the TP-Link CPE220, the VIGI NVR is actually able to see the C340-W and add it to the camera list and I can also see the video feed from the C340-W. I want to access the web UI of the C340-W to adjust some settings but i am unable to because I get the blank white page and the browser just indicates that its waiting for the reply from the C340-W. I used the latest version of FIrefox and also the latest version of Microsoft Edge but still the same problem. I know that you will suggest to isolate the problem by wiring the C340-W to the router or switch but the C340-W is already mounted in a location which is not easily accessable. Another way to isolate is if I connect the C340-W wirelessly to the WIFI signal of my AX50 but i have not done that yet, reason for that is if the CPE220 is somehow blocking https access to the C340-W. My last option would be to reset the C340-W and reconfigure but i don't want to do that yet since it is being used and again its in a location not easily accessable. Any ideas for a solution is welcomed.

UPDATE

 

after updating the NVR1016H to the latest firmware V1_1.0.2 Build 221020 .... i am now able to access the webUI of the VIGI C340-W ... so it was the NVR that was blocking access to the webUI of the VIGI camera all along ...

If I remember correctly, VIGI doesn't support web interface to manage.

it does have a web UI since I was able to access it when I initially configured the C340-W, then i installed in the location where i wanted the camera to monitor. I just want to access that web UI again to change some image settings.

I think i figured out why i can no longer access the webUI of the VIGI C340-W and just getting a white page. The reason why is that just like the OMADA SDN ecosystem of devices, once the controller (OC200) is introduced you lose webUI access to the devices it controls. So, just like the OMADA system on the VIGI ecosystem once you have the VIGI NVR, then NVR is now the controller and you will lose access to the webUI of the VIGI camera.

 

I can understand this but TP-LINK should add it to their documentation that once you have a VIGI NVR then you'll lose access to the webUI on the VIGI camera.

On the OMADA SDN ecosystem if you try to access directly the webUI of the device it shows a warning that the device is being managed by the controller.

The VIGI ecosystem should follow that so that the customers will not get confused why they no longer can access the webUI of the VIGI cam. It should give a warning that its being managed by the VIGI NVR.
