vigi camera without nvr
Hy,
i'm considering buying Tapo c320ws or vigi c340W and I would like to know if I can use vigi cameras without NVR? recording on sd card and checking camera with app on smartphone like tapo one?
in future I'll probably expand system with more cameras and NVR so I'd rather get a vigi now if it works without NVR?

Yes, you can, I have no NVR and have used this camera for 1 year, everything is OK on the VIGI app.

does vigi camera get accessed via cloud inside app from anywhere in the world. or you have to set up your router on static ip to access it outside of your network.

Hello, do you know, if all TP-link VIGI cameras can work without NVR?
I want to buy VIGI C240, but as I understood from user manual (guideline), the set-up process starts with connecting the camera into NVR.
Hopefully it is only my misunderstanding and also VIGI C240 can work without NVR - that means directly connected to internet router and than accessed via mobile VIGI application.
Also I would like to ask please, if the VIGI application is working without cloud - so I do not need to have (buy) a cloud, but store the data on SD memory card and still I can have an access to camera via VIGI mobile application.

@Virgo but, with no NVR, VIGI app send me notifications but i can't see video which causes the notificacion. I'm missing something? I'm using VIGI C340

only when you have a micro sd card inside. or you don't see the recordings. think about it, where should it store?
