Bandwidth difference with and without router

My internet speed is 120 Mbps (download) and 20 Mbps (upload)...
During the bandwidth tests carried out: all devices were disconnected on the router except my computer and on the latter no program is running .
Results of the tests on Speedtest:
With router: Download 91 Mbps // Upload 20 Mbps
Without router: Download 122 Mbps // Upload 20 Mbps
How can this difference between the two tests be explained?
I got the same results from several similar sites like Speedtest.com
