High download number of wired devices after update "2.5.1 Build 20220803 Rel.39745"

Model: OC200
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 2.5.1 Build 20220803 Rel.39745

After apply the update "2.5.1 Build 20220803 Rel.39745" to the controller two wired devices show high download numbers (35TB today, was 27TB 2 days before - Win10Pro; the other device is 13TB - Linux Ubuntu 20.04) within the client overview of the Omada UI. These download size is not reflected by the traffic of the switch the device is connected to (first is a TL-SG3210 v3.0; second connected to TL-SG2008P v3.0). And the WAN router (ER7206 v1.0) does not show such a high traffic (749GB over 17 days).

Can this be a display bug in the Omada overview? I've no idea how the devices would generate such a traffic to the network while the switches does not reflect the download numbers. Last day port traffic statistics show 25, 5, 2 and 4GB / day for the windows device. The port of the Ubuntu device shows 0.2, 36, 43 and 0.4 GB/day transmitted to the device.

The WAN interface shows an average daily received volume of 50-60GB. I've no internal services which may provide a data volume reported by the Omada UI.

The "Insight view" of the Omada UI shows expected numbers (60.9 and 103.7 GB) for both devices in the "Known clients" section with a 1 month date range. The 14 days date range and below does not show the Windows device. This seems to be inconsistent and an error. The windows device is reported as "Last seen" at 31.10. while it is still connected to the same switch port.

Any idea what is happening would be helpful.

Thanks

  @Homerunner

I've seen similar problems before, basically the switch data report shows an error, but I remember the firmware version was updated to fix it, so I suggest you try upgrading the switch firmware to the latest one.

Just striving to develop myself while helping others.
