  @Coenie you are using a EU access point, which has and additional channel on 2.4 while the sonoff device might not be compatible, be sure you use 1 or 11 only if you are using 40 MHz.

It sounds a pain, I have sonoff myself and they give some time trouble. Turn off your Omada APs then set a hotspot on your phone with same SSID, password and settings as your Omanda SSID, then configure it using another phone the sonoff device on the application, after you are done turn in back your Omada and see if that make the trick. Don't forget to turn off your hotspot or change the SSID name of it

  @Family_AM

Hi, this was one of my first things i tried, I used extender to create new SID and the sonoff device connected and worked correctly, i then shut downed the extender and rename the SID on the Omada, the sonoff device just does not want to connect to the SID on the omada AP. But I will try this again. I just think that the LED strip is really just very picky about the wifi standard, the other sonoff devices can connect correctly. Just these strips are a pain .

I found this in my log file on the omada controller, perhaps this could help somebody

[Failed] xx-xx-xx-xx-xx-xx failed to connected to xx-xx-xx-xx-xx-xx with SSID "iot" on channel 10 because WPA Authentication times out/failed.(5 times in a minute)

  @Jcbolive At end I had to get older omada device to make the connection. I am not sure what the issue is with the new AP points

The "older" one that made it work for me.

Try fixing your 2.4G channel to 20Mhz instead of auto.
