ER7212PC Omada Cloud access is Disconnected if use PPPoE on WAN port
My network included an Huawei HG8247h ONT and ER7212PC
1. HG8247h ONT in Router mode
Everything works fine when HG8247h working in Router mode , and DHCP server on LAN side.
The WAN port of ER7212PC get IP with Dynamic IP.
In this case Cloud access is connected. (I bind it in this phase), and the button "Check for update" under "Integrated Router Firmware" function is working. Able to reach TP-link server for checking version. Everything works fine.
2. HG8247h ONT in Modem mode
HG8247h working in Modem mode , and WAN port of ER7212PC use PPPoE connection on WAN port
In this case Cloud access is Disconnected, and the button "Check for update" under "Integrated Router Firmware" function is NOT working. Not able to reach TP-link server for checking version.
I have internet, WAN status is Online, I can see everything working on my local Omada controller, only the cloud access and FW update seems to be disabled for unknown reason.
FTTH HG8247h ONT (10.0.0.1 a PPPoE gateway,modem)
ER7212PC WAN with PPPoE=176.241.44.208 LAN static 192.168.100.1 (ER7212PC DHCP for LAN 192.168.100.10 - 192.168.100.254)
Please help to find the reason.
I not understand.

@peter021 I have the exact problem and it's killing me... because i sold the 3 in 1 solution to a client. The thing is it worked fine at my house while testing it but i cascade it trough 2 other routers. I never imagined there would be a problem in Solo Pppoe mode...

Hi @JDane, @TotalElectric18, @DennisDJP, @HelsingL, @Taper
To help you efficiently, could you please confirm the following information?
1. Are you also have an ONT device in front of the ER7212PC? Or could you please describe your network topology to show how your devices are connected?
2. Does your case exactly the same as @peter021 described as below, cloud access is disconnected when the ONT is working in Modem mode (ER7206 use PPPoE connection on WAN port), but your Internet works fine? And would the cloud access get connected once you change the ONT to work in Router mode (ER7206 use Dynamic IP on WAN port)?

Dear Support team ,
Thank you your support and quick job of R&D team. It it is working now. My ER7212PC is online in the cloud, with PPPoE connection via ONT what is in modem mode .
Who had the same problem can expect the next FW will solve the problem. I don't know when it will be.
