ER7206 Gateway disconnected from Omada, can't reconnect
My router disconnected this morning from Omada controller, and I haven't been able to make it reconnect. I have power cycled all devices and still not able to get it to connect. Is there a way to troubleshoot why it's not connecting? Internet is working, and I think both wlans are active, but I have no way to check.
Omada Software Controller version: 5.8.4 (inside docker container)

I am having the same issues as described.
OC200 Controller 5.9.32 Firmware 1.24.0 Build 20230328 Rel.52384
Have connected:
Gateway has been disconnected since sept 1st.
Rebooted everything but does not help.
Described procedure of forgetting and manually adding by logging in on gateway does not work:
Server Error:403 Forbidden.
Permission Denied: Omada Controller Software is running. Web Server is forbidden.
Omada Controller IP is 192.168.0.103.
This Gateway is being managed by Omada Controller. If you want to manage the Gateway in standalone mode, forget the Gateway from the Omada Controller or reset it.
Now have to go through reset procedure to get things working :(
*edit*
also the reset does not seem to work. holding the reset button for 10+ seconds only reboots the gateway...
Stuck in a loop trying to get everything working again, this is silly...

One thing to try is to get the Device Admin account settings from your controller (usually admin and some random string).
Then access the router directly via it's IP and a browser, use the above credentials to log in. You should bet to a minimal UI with only a couple of options, one of which is 'factory reset' or equivalent. Do that :)
The device account is found under Settings->Site Settings. Click the 'eye' to unhide the password string.

I already used that account to login on the router, but does not help me:
Server Error:403 Forbidden.
Permission Denied: Omada Controller Software is running. Web Server is forbidden.
Omada Controller IP is 192.168.0.103.
This Gateway is being managed by Omada Controller. If you want to manage the Gateway in standalone mode, forget the Gateway from the Omada Controller or reset it.
No options besides Logout for me

I got in touch with their support team, but in the end I ended up factory resetting my router, which fixed the issue.

Id would if I could, but hard reset is not working.
Holding reset button only ends up rebooting the router
Reset procedure as described on TP-Link website does not work.
And since I cannot get control of it, I can't do it through the web interface either...

thank you, that did the job. I was able to revert to 1.2.3 firmware for the router.
Subsequently i was able to adopt the router again.
Hopefully 1.2.3 is working okay with Omada version 5.9.32
And now lets wait for a new firmware that hopefully fixes the issue of the router dropping controller connection
