Very useful for hybrid infrastructure or for securing remote access/any open services where CF is used to do so.  There's a lot of good usage case scenarios for this, and with the ER605 being so inexpensive etc, I see satelite offices using CF or Tailscale etc to get things interconnected when only dynamic WANs, etc are available, or "shared" networks in rented office builting suites.

This would greatly help us and ER-605 V1 would also benifit from this.

This is not TP-Link Omada. We do not have any relations with this URL-mentioned company.

This is the Omada brand and logo.

At this time, we do not have plans for this feature yet. It is still under the market research.

  @Clive_A

Thank you for clarifying.  Sorry to hear this feature isn't on the roadmap.

Dear TP-Link Omada Team,

@Clive_A  @Hank21

I would also like to request support for Cloudflare Zero Trust Tunnel in the Omada ecosystem.

This is becoming very important for small and medium businesses who want to move away from traditional VPN/SD-WAN and adopt Zero Trust security.

If it’s not possible to add Cloudflare Tunnel directly on the ER605 gateway, then I suggest implementing it on the Omada Hardware Controller (OC200/OC300). The controller is Linux-based and the Cloudflare Tunnel client (cloudflared) is lightweight, so it should be much easier to integrate there.

With this feature, Omada users could:

  • Securely expose internal services without exposing the real public IP.

  • Host web applications without requiring a public IP from the ISP.

  • Protect SMB infrastructure with Cloudflare’s Zero Trust security model.

Adding this feature either on the gateway or the controller would make TP-Link Omada much more attractive for SMBs and IT providers, since it would allow us to achieve these capabilities without relying on OpenWRT or external devices.

Also, users who run the software controller separately could install Cloudflare Zero Trust Tunnel themselves, but having it built into the hardware controller or gateway would be a true game changer — making the solution seamless, secure, and user-friendly.

Thanks for considering this!
