Model: OC200
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version:

When I run a SpeedTest from the ISP load dashbaord, I'm getting a "Speed Test Failed, Please Try Again" error message.

However, it appears like the test is running, at least for a few cycles. How do I troubleshoot?

That's some vintage controller software you're running there!  Speedtest has been gone for almost a year now in the newer firmware.

Thats interesting. There's no indication that there's an updated firmware for the device anywhere in my dashboard. I generally wait for the little indicator to tell me rather than checking the forums sporatically for firmware releases.

  @CoKro

am having the same problem. Got the controller to be able to do a speed test. It worked for a week, did the upgrade and I get the same message.

Actually you are wrong.

Automatic speedtest is in the grave... manual speedtest is not.

It’s the manual speed test that fails for me. Perhaps I should open a new thread

  @CoKro

ER605v1 firmware 1.2.1 / OC200 firmware 5.7.6 / ISP 1 (FTTH) --> WORKS

ER605v1 firmware 1.2.3 / Linux controller 5.9.31 / ISP 2 (DOCSIS) --> FAILS

Too many variables to explain why.

  @d0ugmac1 Did you figure out why it fails/ get it to work?

No.  I'm still on 5.9, not sure if 5.12 'fixed' this problem or not....my expectation is the test actually runs on the router as the controller ports are limited to 1G at best.  So there is some interaction between the controller code and the router firmware.
