How to setup ER605 v2.0 to support WAN LAG from a Motorola MB8600 cable modem

I have a Motorola MB8600 cable modem connecting to a TP-Link ER605 WAN port. I can access the internet just fine. I want to enable LAG support on the MB8600 cable modem to double the bandwidth. How do I setup ER605 to support this setup?
1) I enabled LAG support on the MB8600 cable modem. MB8600 supports LAG on Ports 1 & 2 only.
2) I selected WAN and WAN/LAN1 under WAN mode on the ER605 router.
3) Connect MB8600 Port 1 connects to ER605 WAN port.
Do I connect cable modem MB8600 Port 2 to ER605 WAN/LAN1? Any other settings?
