Support multiple public IP addresses in SDN?

Hello! I'm trying to get a new Omada network set up using Cloud SDN on an OC200, adopting an ER8411 as the primary router. My ISP allocates me several public IP addresses in a /28 block, over a PPPoE link.

I've been able to get the WAN configured so that the first address in the block is usable, and clients on the LAN can access the Internet that way. However, I haven't found a way to use any of the remaining addresses, or get them recognized by the router.

Other threads seem to indicate this wasn't supported in the past, but might have been on the roadmap. Is it currently possible to have multiple public IP addresses associated with a single WAN port? If not, is this functionality planned?

Some workaround posts seem to recommend a separate firewall or gateway that has the ability to "split up" the public IPs into one per physical port on the ER8411. If the SDN can't handle multiple IPs per port yet, is that still the best way to go about this in the short term?

I believe the feature you are looking for is 1:1 NAT, but my fleet of ER605v1 are probably even more challenged than the ER8411 for having a complete set of up-to-date firmware features.  Nice that you got extra IPs, but you may have to wait a little longer to fully exploit them (or trade your 8411 in for a 7206 which does support 1:1 NAT today).

@d0ugmac1 Thanks for the info! Is 1:1 NAT configurable in the SDN? I've already adopted the ER8411 into the system managed by the OC200 — if I can set this up in SDN, where would I look?

@d0ugmac1 Thank you for your reply! Unfortunately, that thread seems to refer to the ER605, and I have an ER8411. I'm up to date with both the controller and router firmware, and I don't see the 1:1 NAT option in the location you reference. Is this support available for all routers, or just the ER605?

If your Controller s/w and Router f/w support 1:1 NAT, then you'll find this menu option here:

If not and you are running Controller 5.9.x or better, then you will need to wait for the firmware update for the 8411.

Any update on the ER8411 being able to deal with multiple WAN IPs?

Point #10 in the Beta firmware here, says 1:1 NAT now added for 8411
