I have to ask...did you get the cables in the right order? If you aren't seeing a link light on the switch where the AP is plugged in, that would seem to indicate an injector is attached backwards. Alternatively, if you have a POE switch (not using injector) and its not detecting a POE load on the AP, then it's most likely a bad cable, or failing that, a bad AP. You can verify the cable by using another a different cable on a known good POE port. If I am still misunderstanding your ask, please provide more details.

You MUST use the provided POE injector with the 110-outdoor. It doesn't support 802.3af/at...only passive 24V. Insert the provided poe injector inline between ap and switch, and ensure it is plugged in to an AC source :)
