Router ER7206 Security / Firewall

Hi Guys
Just a quick question regarding the Firewall / Security on this router
Will the default / out-of-the-box settings be ok for home users to try to block unwanted access from outside, or do you need to add something to the defaults.

That’s true. In addition, the ER7206 offers ‘Attack Defense’ and ‘Pocket Anomaly Defense’. The default settings of these two features are adequate in my opinion. However, you should also have some protection against malware and phishing. The ER7206 does not provide anything for that, but you can still have that by using a DNS server that offers malware and phishing protection.
