Model: EAP225-Outdoor
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 5.1.0

We have around 100 APs in use with a mix of EAP265HDs, EAP110 Outdoors, 230 Wall, EAP225s and a handful of 225 Outdoors across 7 sites.

At ONE site, on a near regular basis (every 1 or 2 weeks), all of the EAP225-Outdoor APs disconnect from Omada and have to be power cycled to recover them.

This affects 5 units, connected to and powered by different PoE switches by two different makes in different parts of the premise but ALWAYS, the 5 disconnect at the same time.

The rest of the sites and different models do not suffer the same fate and can confirm they dont just reboot at the same time etc. Basic settings on all switches, nothing set on Omada for timed reboots etc.

So far have been unable to find a cause, any ideas from the wider community as am at a loss with this now..

Cheers.

  @NWT

Checked the physical connection like the cables, the switch, it seems like be caused by the unstable power.

Just striving to develop myself while helping others.

@Virgo Thanks for the reply, the affected devices are spread across 3 different switches also in different physical locations within the site, each switch is pretty much full and no other TPLink devices are affected, cabling previously completely swapped to two test units with no improvement. Just to clarify the devices don't power off, they remain on just show as disconnected in Omada. In order to recover them they then need to be power cycled.

Regards.
