For two AC1350 (EAP225) access point devices, do I need the TL-ER7212PC router to achieve the MESH effect or is the TTL-ER605 enough?

Deco mesh and Easymesh (especially those with ethernet backhaul supported) are mesh technologies you may consider for your house as well.

Hi @mtorrent

Thanks for posting in our business forum.

@ terziyski has already answered your question. For the business AP solution, you need an AP controller which is OC200/300, or Software Controller on PC(running 24/7) to support the mesh.
If you look for a whole-house wireless mesh node solution, then you consider other products. ER7212PC is a router built-in with the controller. So, no need to get a controller.

  @mtorrent

TL-ER605 doesn't include the controller that you need for the mesh feature.

If you use TL-ER605  you'll need a HW controller or a software controller - details.

The TL-ER605 doesn't have the PoE feature as well if you intend to power the APs that way.

  @mtorrent Than you for everybody. Now I understand

What solution (Omada, EasyMesh or others) for a 200m2 house (one level, reinforced concrete ceiling) do you recommend?
