TP-Link ER605 V2 Fw ER605(UN)_V2_2.1.2 Build 20230210 VS ER605(UN)_V2_2.2.0 Build 20230629 Rel.64012
Hi all,
On my TP-Link ER605 V2 I was able to download and running Firmware 2.2.0 Build 20230629 Rel.64012.
I configured it in backup mode - USB modem, I noted that when the main line drop and the USB connection take place, no DNS was provided by the 2nd connection so I lost Internet connection, it took a bit to understand why I was not able to browse Internet by 2nd line but I figured it out but finally I did it.
I checked the system logs and I saw good logs about when USB modem take place.
I moved to the support page do double check if a new firmware was available I discovered the my current firmware was not available anymore and last available is 2.1.2 Build 20230210.
I perform some internet research and I found this post:
https://community.tp-link.com/en/business/forum/topic/617892
So I downgraded the firmware to 2.1.2 Build 20230210. I did a drop main line test restoring the settings do retrieve DNS from the ISP from my devices, and main line and USB backup line are working correctly now.
Then I moved to the logs and I was surprised to see that compared to firmware 2.2.0 Build 20230629 Rel.64012 now I can just see: Wan down and Wan up and no track about USB back up on and USB back up off.
My question is: will a new Firmware possible with no bugs and good logs detail as 2.2.0 Build 20230629 Rel.64012 released soon?
