TP-ER605 V2 2.2.0 Build 20230629 Rel.64012 "Common errors for VPN policies"
TP-ER605 V2 2.2.0 Build 20230629 Rel.64012 "Common errors for VPN policies"
ER605 V2 2.2.0 Build 20230629 Rel.64012
Did an upgrade yesterday of my ER605 V2 everything was normal executed.
No problem for the update.
But after validation of the VPN connections there seems to be a problem.
I have no control over my VPN client and server anymore. (I'm not sure if one is related to the other.)
I have created in (previous version)
Client to Site => Open VPN server
Client to Site => Open VPN clients with NordVPN Fixed IP
Both connections worked very good before the upgrade. But now something is wrong.
Seems to me that the ER605 is not under control of the OC300 and VPN is not under control anymore. Did a reboot of the complete system and reinstalled the VPN clients but seems the same. Any suggestions?
ER605 V2 2.2.0 Build 20230629 Rel.64012 "Common errors for VPN policies" this is the message that I receive.
Kind Regards,
Benny.

I am having exactly the same issue, since I upgraded just now to the latest version. None of my VPN connections work anymore, and I get the same error message.
At a loss at the moment, hopefully somebody can chime in on what's happening and how to fix it.

Looking for todo the same and goback to the previous version. There is something fuzy going on.
How did you go back to the previous firmware version?
I found the previous version on the support download site.
What is the process that I could use?
1) Just disconnect and then full reset
2) Once the reset is finished Connect PC to the ER605, Login with Admin and then upload the Bin file?
3) Full reset again and see if it is loaded with version 2.1.2
4) Connect to the network and let the OC300 do its job?
How do you savegaurd the parameters or do I need to reconfigure everything again manual after the downgrade?

Download the previous version from the website.
Using the controller, go to your device list.
Select the router, config, manage device, browse for firmware.

Well it looks like the update is not available anymore, so I assume they found a bug and removed it until fixed?
It would be nice to have some feedback from TP-link instead of having to guess what's happening...

Hi
Thanks for the feedback. Downgrade the ER605 V2 to verson 2.1.2 reboot and everything running as it should.
Was impressed with the support within the communicty and also from TP link support team. Even this happened if service is ok the problems can be solved fast and impact is limited. Still happy customer and learned some things.
Kind regards,
Benny.

I had a tech yesterday login to the router and get some log data; fortunately the error was able to be reproduced as well as the disconnect that happens when VPN is created, so hopefully they'll be able to fix this soon!
