Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 2.1.2

I'm with an NGO in rural West Africa and internet options here are very unreliable so we rely on multiple backups. We use our ER605 for load balancing and link backups. We now have Starlink, which we're using as our primary WAN, but I want to set it up so if Starlink disconnects (typical during tropical rains here), then it switches to and LTE network and if that's down (as it is 80% of the time), it switches to an alternate 3G network. We have each independent modem/router setup and connected into the ER605 with WAN, WAN1 and WAN2, but under load balancing Link Backup - it doesn't seem like we can setup the cascading backups (if WAN is down, then  WAN1, then if WAN and WAN1 are down then WAN2). If I set WAN and WAN1 as primary, then it seems to load balance between them, which is extremely expensive to pull on our LTE connection. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Hi @bjamin

Thanks for posting in our business forum.

There is no way to set it with the load balance alone. There was a post on the forum that illustrates this by using load balance and policy routing.

So, set up WAN and WAN1 as primary, and backup as WAN2. Then use WAN in Policy Routing, mode as Priority.

In this config, data will be sent through WAN. Backup is WAN 1. When both WAN and WAN1 fail, it switches to WAN2.
