Very slow VPN speed

I have just replaced ER605v1 router with ER707-M2 to get higher Client-toSite VPN speed, but I am very dissapointed.
Using PPTP VPN i get max 1MB/s (even ER605v1 achieve 3MB/s). L2TP reaching 3MB/s and OpenVPN jumping between 10 and 5MB/s. Max 40 percent utilisation of router CPU. Gateway is controlled by Linux Software Controler V5.12.6
Using VPN client on Windows 11 PC I am reaching 10MB/s stable for all VPN protocols.
Is somehow possible to reach 10MB/s stable speed using this router? Is someone experiencing same behaviour?

yes, they look cool then, it's about the same price as the ER707 so they're not expensive either, you get to test both and compare with the ER707 ;.)

Hi, is your problem solved? What's the connection method you use to connect to the ISP? DHCP, static IP, PPPoE or something else?

Well, that's the same problem with me, I have the same issue with you, but I have another ER605 V1 and a ER7206 V1, which works well, maybe you can try to get another gateway like I said.

@Libik Bonjour, il est frustrant de constater des vitesses VPN plus faibles avec le routeur ER707-M2 par rapport au ER605v1. C'est bien que votre PC sous Windows 11 atteigne 10 Mo/s, mais il est étrange que le routeur ne se comporte pas de la même manière. Il pourrait être utile de vérifier la configuration de votre routeur ou de solliciter l'assistance du fabricant pour optimiser ses performances. D'autres membres de la communauté pourraient heures travaillées également avoir des idées sur ce problème.

Are you using PPPoE as the WAN? If possible, can you switch to dynamic or other type to see if there is any improvement?
