ER8411 - OpenVPN Client Certificate + Account not working
ER8411 - OpenVPN Client Certificate + Account not working
Hi,
yesterday I replaced my ER7206 by a ER8411 and realized that the OpenVPN Client-to-Site is no longer working although it is statet as introduced with firmware 1.1.0
The Insight shows, that it is connected, but I cannot connect to IP via VPN connection.
The Router is used in Controller Mode with Linux Controller 5.12.7.
I would be happy if someone could help me.
Regards,
Matthias

Hi @Clive_A
I tried PCs with Linux, Windows, MacOS and from iPhone. They are all also in VLAN 30.
Using the profile directly on one of this devices everything works without any issues.
Is there still the possibility to get root access to a Linux shell on er8411? Perhaps it is possible to grab some logs there.
Via SSH I already got acces with the known MD5 hash from Mac Adress and Admin Name. But nothing is possible there...

For those who are following and interested.
Tp-Link support suggested to switch back to standalone mode and doing further experiments.
So far, OpenVpn is still not working.
I hope TP-Link is not stopping the support of Omada SDN with introduction of the all new TP-Link Omada Pro Products.

Currently, Omada Pro is not open to consumer-level customers at this point. So, you don't have to worry about it. Omada Pro targets SI partners and other contract users.
Both product lines will develop at the same time.
