Hi all,

I just setup my network. In there I have a Lan and 2 VLAN's for IOT and a Guest network.

Everything works fine, except the philip hue bridges will not connect. also the sonos boost does not connect, so i think there is a bigger issue that I have not identified yet.

I placed a non-managed switch behind a 650-wall unit. In here a 3 hue bridges. 2 of them I have installed on a previous network and these can connect. However, the third/new one can not connect. I also tried connecting the new bridge directly to the router and the also to the switch, but both came up short.

What is weird also is that the Ip adres of the 2 previously installed Hue bridges is different in the hue app than according to my controller.

The Ip isxxx.xxx.0.2 and xxx.xxx.178.52 according to the app, but xxx.xxx..10.28 and xxx.xxx.10.27 according to the controller.

The 2 working hue bridges are on the LAN network now, but i want to also move them to the VLAN network by giving them a static ip adres. Doing this via the controller has not been succesful.

Does anybody know a solution to the problems above?

Thank you in advance,

Bas

Hi @JSBL1980

Thanks for posting in our business forum.

You should set up the mDNS instead to allow over(inter) VLAN broadcast. Then it should fix the problem.
